In Support of Beirut
We are devastated by the situation in Beirut, a beautiful city in a country we love. Now is our time to come together, share a meal and show our support for our Lebanese friends.
Let’s break bread for Lebanon: Join us Tuesday the 11th of August from 1600 for an impromptu fundraising get-together at Ved Stranden 10.
We will sell Lebanese food prepared by local Lebanese residents, friends and like-hearted. As well as an appropriate amount of soothing beverages.
All proceeds from the afternoon go to our friends from Tawlet and Souk El Tayeb to help them rebuild one of the most beautiful initiatives in Lebanon.
The community members are at risk of losing their lifelines and livelihoods, and we wish to help them secure jobs for 100’s of women, farmers, producers, employees and their families.
Furthermore, Tawlet is in collaboration with World Central Kitchen preparing meals in support of a devastated community.
