We went to Libanon and expectably fell in love, profoundly. We joined in, ate and experienced a part of Kamal Mouzawak’s universe. Surrounded by the most friendly and hospitable human beings.

It’s also synonymous with a community of eateries that serves traditional Lebanese dishes. Prepared and chosen by it’s entourage of female chefs. Each with a story to tell, a tradition to pass on and a familiar memories to share.

SOUK MEANS MARKET
Tayeb holds several meanings; Good, Delicious or Goodhearted when talking about a person. Founded in 2004, Souk el Tayeb seeks to celebrate the food and traditions that unite communities and bringing people of different regions and beliefs together. A farmers market in the heart of Beirut where sustainability, rural heritage and the support of local farmers and producers is key.
ON SUNDAY THE 29th
We do a Sunday souk at Ved stranden 10 with Tawlet servings befitting the day after or a family excursion.
Starting at 11:30 – 16:00
